Threefold Architects have designed a series of new low cost incubator studio spaces for creative industries within London's iconic Portobello market.
Located beneath the Westway, linking Portobello Market to Ladbroke Grove, the design comprises a series of offsite fabricated modular units. The studios can be easily and quickly adapted, allowing the spaces to evolve to suit the needs of the studio holders and market users. The studios themselves are conceived as 'canvasses' upon which can be customised to reflect the nature of the startup businesses that occupy them.
