  • Abbey Road Studios

Threefold is working with Abbey Road Studios on a phased programme of refurbishment at one of the world’s most iconic recording studios.

The project involves the careful refurbishment of key interior spaces within the Grade II-listed building, enhancing the experience of artists, musicians, technicians and staff while respecting the building’s exceptional heritage. Phase One has transformed the main entrance and reception, together with the artists’ lounge, live room and control room of Studio One — the world’s largest purpose-built recording studio.

The design draws inspiration from the building’s rich architectural evolution, from the late Georgian house through which visitors arrive to the celebrated Art Deco recording studios beyond. Responding to these distinct historic layers, the project creates a contemporary and welcoming environment within this remarkable house of music, supporting creativity while celebrating Abbey Road’s extraordinary cultural legacy.
